What is APICS CPIM?
APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) is an internationally recognised course on operations management at a higher professional level.
The curriculum reflects the latest insights into production logistics, supply chain management and business process improvement.

How do you become CPIM Certified?
By passing 1 exam candidates acquire the APICS CPIM certificate and the internationally recognized and valued title. . The certificate with worldwide industry acceptance and a standard in supply chain.
Content of the CPIM training
The training consists of 8 modules regarding the production logistics.
For more knowledge about the supply chain and alignment of the supply chain with the business strategy, the following topics are covered in this training.

Module 1: Supply Chains and Strategy
Module 2: Sales and Operations Planning
Module 3: Demand
Module 4: Supply
Module 5 Detailed Schedules
Module 6: Inventory
Module 7: Distribution
Module 8: Quality, Technology and Continuous Improvement
14 classes. Each lesson lasts 3 hours. Available at easy-to-acces and centrally located venues in the Netherlands. Time 18.30 to 21.30 hrs.. View the schedule for places and start dates.
Venue Den Bosch. Investment in time: 7 days. Time 9.30- 16.30. 2 blocks of lessons per day. Each block lasts 3 hours. Lesson frequency 1 time per month on Saturdays, so that you don’t have to miss your private time too often during the weekend. Lunch included.
Courses in which participants connect and interact online with each other and with the trainer. The synchronised sessions are held via the Teams computer network. 21 sessions each session 2 hrs..
You order the required study materials from ProQua. There is no interaction with a lecturer. You take your exams when you feel you are sufficiently prepared. You can start whenever you like.
Preparing for the CPIM exams
Criteria for success:
- Bachelor level or college level of intellectual ability with sufficient experience in operations management
- Good reading skills in English, (the textbooks and the exams are in English).
- The correct study material, i.e. the compulsory APICS CPIM Learning System. (books and online system).
- Preferably some work experience in a production environment.
- Taking/having enough study time for preparation and homework and having an active, participatory attitude during lessons.
- Taking the exam as soon as possible after completing the course.
