APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) is an internationally recognised course on operations management at a higher professional level. The curriculum reflects the latest insights into production logistics, supply chain management and business process improvement. Globalisation of production has led to a strong and growing demand for personnel who can operate as part of long production chains. The APICS CPIM training course is for professionals who want to stay abreast of the latest knowledge and technologies in the field of operations management. It is a study that enjoys global industry acceptance.
By passing the two part exams, Part 1 & Part 2, candidates acquire the APICS CPIM certificate and the internationally recognized and values title.
Key to this module are the guiding concepts for controlling an organisation’s value streams. In addition to this, you get oversight of the material flow from internal and external suppliers, through the organisation and to the customers.
We will cover the following topics:
Part 1 comprises eight classes and Part 2 consists of 11 classes. Each lesson lasts three hours.
Available at easy-to-access, centrally located venues in the Netherlands.
Time 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm.
Venue: Den Bosch Time 9.30 am to 4.30 pm. CPIM training course at a slightly faster pace.
Lesson frequency: once a month, so that you don’t have to miss out on your private life over the weekend too often. Part 1: 3½ days, Part 2: five days. Lunch included.
Courses in which participants connect and interact online with each other and with the trainer. The synchronised sessions are held via the Teams computer network. Part 1: 12 two-hour sessions. Part 2: 16 sessions.
Lessons can be taken from home, the office or when travelling.
You order the required study materials from ProQua. There is no interaction with a lecturer. You take your exams when you feel you are sufficiently prepared. You can start whenever you like.
Self-study with supervision option: If you have questions about the course, you contact your coach by email, telephone or video call, plus you have two in-person appointments of three hours for each part. These appointments are scheduled in joint consultation.
Criteria for success:
Several times a year we offer group training APICS CPIM in evening and/or day training.
