What is CLTD?
APICS Certified in Logistics Transport and Distribution is the course for logistics, transport and distribution management. Set at bachelor+ level. This is a training course for broad employability in logistics. You acquire the knowledge you need to perform well in a managerial logistics job.
How to get CLTD certified?
The certificate is obtained by passing a 3.5-hour compact exam in which the eight modules are tested based on 150 multiple choice questions.
Structure of the APICS CLTD study
The course consists of nine modules. APICS CLTD targets logistics professionals who are responsible for controlling processes in the fields of transport and distribution as part of their daily work.
The modules are covered in 10 three-hour sessions. The lecturer takes you through the theory and discusses many practical examples.
CLTD study options
Our APICS CLTD training courses come in several kinds of study programmes. Offering course participants a choice is logical as far as we are concerned. After all, people study at different paces and some don’t like taking classes in the traditional way. At Proqua, it’s up to you to decide how you prepare for the exams.
Ten three-hour evening sessions from 6.30 to 9.30 pm, including training for exams.
Five days of classes including training for exams. Classes from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm.
This is a course comprising 15 two-hour sessions in which participants connect and interact online with each other and with the trainer. The synchronised sessions are held via the Teams computer network.
Lessons can be taken from home, the office or when travelling.
You order the compulsory ProQua study material; there is no interaction with a lecturer.
You take your CLTD exams when you feel you are sufficiently prepared. You can start the course and then take the exams whenever you like
Preparing for the CLTD exams
- Bachelor level
- Good reading skills in English, (the textbooks and the exams are in English).
- The correct study material for preparation. In this case, the compulsory APICS CLTD Learning System.
- Having enough study time for preparation and homework and having an active, participatory attitude during lessons.
- Taking your exams straight after the course. Then the knowledge you have acquired is still fresh.
